Our Activities

Musollahs & Clean Up
The main purpose this group was formed at first is to facilitate the Muslim needs in NYP to perform our daily obligation - Five Prayers. We manage the Musollahs in NYP and trying to keep them conducive and clean.

Every once a month, we will be having Musollah Clean Up, which will be cleaning up one or two Musollahs in NYP.

Sharing Session
Sharing Session is a gathering of NYP Muslim students to share on a certain topic. Every session we have 2 different person leading a different topic. So, the rest come as participant/audience just to join and hopefully we can gain one or two benefits from what was shared.

As the activity name goes "Sharing", it is a two-way communication session where not only the presenters will be talking, but the audience will also be given the chance to express their thoughts, opinions, and experiences. In short, it is a session where we will be exchanging knowledge and experiences in hope that we can learn from each other. Insya-Allah.

Do take note, that we do won't force the audience to share their opinions or thoughts. So, don't worry and do not stress. Sharing session is a session to seek 'ilmu (knowledge) in a casual, informal manner. :)

Sharing Session is an ongoing bi-weekly Sharing Session except during Tests and Exams weeks.

Outings
NYPMSN is a platform where NYP Muslim Students can get together, with a purpose of reminding each other towards goodness, insya-Allah. But this society does not only stress on our deen (religion), but also about forming ukhuwwah (friendship) and at the same time, to have fun too. We are human after all.

Occasionally, we will be having outings and outside activities such as Sports Meet, Cycling at East Coast Park or Pulau Ubin, and many more!

Volunteerism
NYPMSN is not only a platform to seek knowledge and form ukuwwah. It is also a platform for each of us to strive to be a better Muslim. One of the way to improve ourselves is through contributing to the community.

Attending Outside Events
We are in a look out if there is any outside events that we can join, and we will join together, insya-Allah. Events such as Majlis Ilmu at Masjid, Talks, or Camps.
