Salaam :) im keen on diagnostic radiography/physiotherapy @ nyp but im concerned if my wearing of the hijab might affect my chances on either of the careers in sg as stated. Rumour has it that headscarves can only be worn wheb off duty... Could you enlighten me of the expected dress codes for diag. Rad. Or physio in sg? Thnk u

For diagnostic radiography, certain hospitals allows you to wear the hijab.
You would need to check with the management of the respective hospitals when you get attached there.

While some hospitals only allow you to wear the hijab when you're wearing the white coat, scrubs are not allowed to be worn with the hijab.

On top of all these, we have to be reminded that in times of Surgical Operation, the hijab must also be removed and the full sterilised gear will be worn with hair nets etc.
